Pretty sure they all send a HD signal, not PAL or NTSC.

Okay then, let’s call it the european, australian and new zelandean SNES.

More importantly, .jif is its own extension.

Bah, I don’t gif a damn how it’s pronounced.

Hear Hear. It’s not JIF like peanut butter, it’s GIF like Giraffe.

Besides. jif is a fucking peanut butter.

Yes, and I hate it when the bartender uses GIN when I specifically asked for a JIN martini.

I suggest, much like we figured out tabs vs. spaces, is see who makes the most money between gif vs jif users. Because as we all know, money solves all arguments. Also, it’s gif because if you have to write jif just to show an alternate pronunciation, then I’ll pronounce it the ways it’s spelled....gif.

Unless you pronounce GUI as JEWWY, get the fuck outta here with your JIF nonsense.

I know Broadway is much more expensive but here in London theatre is cheap - I go to the theatre 2-3 times a week and rarely pay more than £30. In many cases £15.

I saw La Boheme at the Met with my friend for $25 each with the rush tickets. I’d never seen an opera before and thought it was kind of strange, but it was a cool experience and I’m glad I went. That’s a lot of culture for $25.

This. Like I was physically effected just reading the book...and that’s kind of the point. The story is depressing as all kinds of hell.

I think the trope of “Man, 1984 is so real” that people use, tends to normalize the idea of the novel. So everyone just thinks it’s like, “oh man, totalitarianism” without all the like... brutality and realness that that idea entails. But yeah, They deserve it.

yeah but you just compared 1984 to The Dark Knight so...

I’m not sure knowing the book puts you on notice for seizure-inducing strobe lights during the play.

Libraries?! What are you, some kind of communist?

Is it flaunting literary privilege to say that anyone going into a production of 1984 without some idea of what they’re going to see deserves what they get?

So who at NATO wants to take responsibility for this one?

Post-apocalyptic gay dating?

This is true but most TVs with great HDR are also 4K
