I cannot with certain sites today. There are so many women, minorities, and even moderate Dems pointing out that the whole “poor white voter economic anxiety” doesn’t make sense, and yet their voices are getting shouted down. It’s all our fault for our identity politics obsession! Why must we divide people?! Why must…

it was pretty obvious Republicans will just vote down party lines. History has taught us this with past elections. On the flip side, those principle progressive voters that didnt vote or voted third have their morals and ethics to feed off of for the next 4 years while liberal policies are gutted and repealed.

Same thing with the GOP in Congress, at least the leadership. They thought they could just sit back for another four years of obstruction and throwing verbal bombs, but now they’re like SHIT!!! we’re gonna have to govern!!.

Guys, in the lead up to this election, I read so many articles about the Nader effect in 2000 and how we can’t let that happen again. And yet here we are. This is fucking bullshit.

Yeah it really is hard to, as you said, negotiate these relationships. How do we know which ones to let go of and which ones to suffer through? I think this is especially pertinent to family. If I cut off my Trump-lover sister, I also lose my three nieces.
