If you add sticky rubber and track the car hard, then what the OP said is true.

Agreed. I have the GS and I don’t mind the trade off of being .4 slower to 60 to avoid the hassle of pulling cylinder heads to address the LS7 valve issues.
Sucks to be crippled by what others think.
I wouldn’t paint the C6 with such a broad brush. The LS7 valve issues are well documented, but, the LS2 and LS3 are generally considered bullet proof, being they’re basically a GM truck motor.
what’s wrong with yellow C6's or Corvettes in general?
Wait, so he’s the same as Jeremy Clarkson? lol
Side by Side (lame name) vehicles need expensive support equipment.
In the world of automotive toys, $55oo isn’t much ask. This is crazy enough I’d say it’s a fair price. Fly your freak flag high, give zero fucks, and NP.
I mean if your going to build an homage GTO out of a Grand Prix, yeah source the tri power. If you’re going to build a cool resto-mod wagon, put an LS in it and air conditioning and drive the crap out of it. You can probably put an LS with a better rear gear and still get better power and mileage than this and have…
Damn this one is tough. I can’t pull enough data on Tempest wagons to see how much they’re worth this clean. I know clean GTOs go for almost double this but I wanted to average them both out and see if this guy’s price makes sense. Because they’re so rare, I’m going to spitball here based off what I can find and say…
It’s really fucking awesome, and something I would absolutely love to daily drive.
Cool car at an insane price. I have to give this one a CP no matter how much I like it.
Who the heck makes a GTO inspired wagon with a 2.56 to 1 rear end? I understand the need to highway cruise, but it's never the real deal so put an overdrive automatic in it with a minimum 3.55 ring gear and a positrac so the thing can leave it's mark. This just screams I had all these parts laying around so I bolted…
“Let me sell you my wet dream for $30K”
Thats cool bro, cuz the Trackhawk is outta his price range anyway. But the SRT isn’t. Its perfect for what he’s looking for. Durango or GC SRT can’t be beat for the money/power/space/cool factors.
Not super convenient to drive down there in your normal car, take the time to rent it, use it, drive it back, get back to your place without a car. And before the counter-convenience argument is made, if people weren’t concerned with convenience as one of their primary factors to begin with they’d be on public…
