Agreed. I have the GS and I don’t mind the trade off of being .4 slower to 60 to avoid the hassle of pulling cylinder heads to address the LS7 valve issues.

I wouldn’t paint the C6 with such a broad brush. The LS7 valve issues are well documented, but, the LS2 and LS3 are generally considered bullet proof, being they’re basically a GM truck motor.

Here’s the (weird) thing. I first saw this “mod” in action on a TL in my old townhouse’s parking lot but if you paint ol’ Beakie, the results aren’t bad. Depending on the car, it’s surprisingly good.

Thats cool bro, cuz the Trackhawk is outta his price range anyway. But the SRT isn’t. Its perfect for what he’s looking for. Durango or GC SRT can’t be beat for the money/power/space/cool factors. 

Not super convenient to drive down there in your normal car, take the time to rent it, use it, drive it back, get back to your place without a car.
