Cerberus buys Chrysler/Jeep, chews it up, spits it out.

The “Hellpine”.

Dodge is so stressed out it can do nothing but keep putting ever more monstrous engines in large tanks

Poop and fertilizer, the real circle of life.

This assumes they can just cut him loose. That’s not a given and is probably wrong.

1st: Nissan is the Japanese Chrysler. There, I said it. They should merge.

I miss both Sergio and Mergio.

All I know is if I can walk into a Dodge dealer and buy an Alpine A110, I’ll be happy - they can call it the Avenger for all I care.

Bring this with you or fuck off.

Mercedes and BMW to make a combined car?  So double the maintenance costs and twice the terrible reliability.

Welcome to the Short Shift, a feature I do whenever I feel like it, where I list my Hot Takes based on TMS.

Has Sergio comeback as a Jedi Ghost or something?

Two birds that were not chickens, mated and laid an egg, that egg hatched into the bird we call chicken today, therefore the egg definitely came first.

Uh, did y’all forget to build the rest of the rear end? That looks so weird just hanging out there all uncovered.

Why not just buy a real Ferrari factory race car then? That way you have, you know, an actual race car. Not some fake-job like this. If you’re going to make a fake race car, you might as well go full bananas and get the v12. Screw the extra weight, you’re NOT ACTUALLY RACING ANYONE

I cant imagine spending all that money on commissioning my own Ferrari and not getting a V12.

FCA is simply pouring money into RAM and Jeep. There’s no incentive (or money) to update platforms for Dodge when they are still selling quite well. They are milking those platforms for all they are worth. I know that’s frustrating for enthusiasts, but FCA knows that Dodge isn’t where their profits are coming from.

So what?  They sell pretty well, they generate excitment, you can fit 5 people in them, they look good, and they’re pretty damn comfortable.  I say milk the cash cow ‘till the udders fall off!  At least they’re still offering CARS.

N not another cuv = win

This is part of why I’m glad Kia brought the Stinger to market. Before that, FCA didn’t really have competition in the affordable RWD sedan market (the G8 is dead, the SS had a much higer cost of entry, and the Caprice was police only.) I’m really hoping Dodge/Chrysler having some competition will motivate them to
