I recently looked at a sister car to this one, a Firebird Trans Am, basically kitted out just like this one, except it was a drop top and had considerably more miles. The asking price was $5000.

ZL-1 Camaro. I think it was a custom build. More info here. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/comparison-test/a15140636/2000-chevrolet-zl-1-camaro-vs-ford-boss-mustang-comparison-test/
You shut your whore face...this is peak Camero right here!
That was my immediate thought too. Where are the racing stripes?
“Both of my first two cars were 3rd-gen Camaros...”
I’d take that body style over the late 90's early 00's one all day. At least the angular 80's body is interesting. This is just generic 90's swoopy. Looks like the Taurus my mom used to drive.
Nope. So many better LS engined choices in the high teens.
Amen. Both of my first two cars were 3rd-gen Camaros and I wouldn’t buy this thing for $17K if it had been hermetically sealed the microsecond it rolled off the assembly line.
I grew up with that generation, so to me that one is far better looking than the later model. It has a certain brutish appeal. I remember when the F-Body came out and at first I thought it looked so futuristic, but I quickly soured on it.
MAJOR CP. This car was very clearly wrecked and repainted. The 35th has a very unique set of stripes that do not go over the grille (which should be black). Not only that the grille that is there looks ridiculous.
Nah. It happens automatically once you start driving it.
For the same money you could snag a Corvette Z06 of the same vintage. Higher mileage, obs, but still so much more car than these ever were.
This is like celebrating the anniversary of when you got chlamydia.
This has the wrong intake for the SS as well - it should be a functional ram-air intake through that scoop. Maybe it had major front-end damage and they couldn’t find all the proper parts and/or it’s a fake - aftermarket added body kits and no proper SS package components.
Honestly, looks more like a Z-28 someone…
Hey, where did the rest of the white stripes go? Are they still on the smashed hood? The couple of examples of this model I have seen both had a black grille with no stripes. Front end damage perhaps? CP because of the mystery.
Ugliest Camaro generation ever.
