As soon as preorders opened for this and Prime 4, I secured mine. At this point, I’m just happy to play a proper new entry into the series. My only issue: Why no Switch port for Samus Returns? Crazy as it sounds, I’d be fine if it’s a timed 3DS exclusive and will buy it again on Switch if it gets ported.

Off-topic: Am I the only one who preferred the nuanced artwork from the US version’s packaging/manual/guide books? I have utmost respect for Yuji Horii, but the darker aesthetic and level of detail really set the artwork apart from anything since Dragon Warrior IV on NES.

DW actually came after Ultima: Exodus IIRC. The game was, however, much more approachable for me as a 9-year-old when it hit the US than Ultima. I soooo wanted to get into that series but just didn’t have the patience.
