You raised him right. :)

We found my son a 2013 Accord with almost 80,000 miles for $11,000. My wife was concerned with how many miles it has and I was like, “Honey, this is practically new for an Accord.” And to be honest. it was the cleanest used car I’ve ever seen in my life, regardless of mileage. Like the previous owner had coated the

Local Old Volvo Enthusiast here checking in, wondering why 150k is considered “high mileage.”

If the price is right, sure.  Bought Jeep XJ with 220k miles, for the price of scrap metal.  It runs, passes the state inspection.  What more do you need?

It depends.

Totally depends what it is. Any Honda with a K/H/B-series motor, or any Toyota with any of their legendary motors would be no issue at all with that kind of mileage. Hell, I bought an S2000 with 115k on the clock and took it to the track about a dozen times in the first few months (not quite the same mileage as the

While Haas wouldn’t necessarily be a great choice for Perez

It will be more like Hamilton/Button, with Perez being the clever veteran that can occasionally beat the young star.

I’m not a Checo fan, but it will be a crime if he isn’t in F1 next season. He’s probably the most solid and consistent driver in the field who is not a championship contender. To paraphrase the announcers today, he’s a points-earning machine — not to mention he’ll be coming with sponsorship and money.

Haas signing Hulk and Checo would be a coup. I’m kinda over Romain and Kevin. They could easily find homes in Indycar or even IMSA and they’d actually compete for podiums. If not, Checo + Pato at SPAM would be epic, as well as potentially bringing Indycar to Mexico City (and Montreal please!). There are several ways

How DARE you.

Checo to Red Bull.

Besides the fact that he’s a better driver, which is reason enough alone, I think commercially as well it would be an amazing thing for Haas to have a North American driver. Mexicans and Mexican Americans would turn out in droves in Austin and Mexico City to see an American team with a popular Mexican driver. The

Hass 2021: Perez / Hulkenberg

Well... To me it sounds like he’s had enough of those guys at Ferrari (can’t blame him) and is just sitting through it until the season is finally over. In the meantime he’s waiting for Spa until he can announce his move to Racing Point.

He could take a race off and still be ahead of Verstappen, who is in second position. And Lewis hasn’t had a non-points finish all season. What’s your point again?

Right? I mean, stick around long enough, and you might luck into a championship anyway. Worked out for Nico.

True. I’m still kinda mad at him for leaving Red Bull for Renault of all places. I think Verstappen was good for Ricciardo competitive wise, they had their hot moments but they got along better than a lot of duos. I think Ricciardo has a lot of potential.

aren’t the regs holding still  next year?

IMHO, Bottas is often underrated. Last year he won more races than any team other than Mercedes. This year the score, so far, is Hamilton 4, Bottas 1, and the rest of the teams 1.
