in general, it is.tjs pays well, gives health/vision/dental insurance starting at 20 hours a week, we have vacation/sick time, and they contribute to our 401ks.

not actually true. in the us, aldi sud owns/operates the aldi chain, while aldi nord owns tjs. i'm not sure how much they have to do in the day to day decisions of the aldi stores, but they're pretty removed from it in tjs land - in my going on six years of working at tjs, my stores have had one albrecht visit.
