what have done in the past is take the 3 or 6 ton jack stands and weld a steel plate on the bottom of the legs. the legs don't sink into whatever surface they are on and they wont spread and cause FIERY DEATH!... uh... i mean premature failure.

if its a stock cummins p pumped motor then it will run forever but then so do 7.3l and (when modified right) 6.0l which looks like what this truck had in it. why they didn't do a fully built engine and man trans swap as well is beyond me. btw the 2003 7.3l had over 200 hp and over 500 ft lb of torque. downgraded
