Am I shocked that doing something stupid like that resulted in a costly accident? No. Have I suggested that he is not to blame for his misfortune? No.  Does losing a part of your body or your ability to function suck?  I think that’s an easy yes.

My comment was meant to applied more liberally to individuals being pilloried for stupid comments, not specifically sports athletes. Athletes are generally much better insulated against the effects of internet dogpiling.

Saw it and while I enjoyed it, man was it bad.  Fun, but bad.  So many dumb things.   They managed to break suspension of disbelief in a DINOSAUR MOVIE with that stupid auction scene.  Was Doctor Frikkin Evil running that?  Good god.
