So why is it taking so long to get a real luxury rival into the market?

oh ok. yeah, it’s kind of a “rising tide lifts all boats” thing; as unibody structures have become stiffer, unibody convertibles have too.  but the convertibles still lag the coupes by about the same margin.

keep the Labatt flowing and you can keep your passport.

it’s probably one of the few things we don’t put it on. And at least you all still overwhelmingly go with Heinz. Hunt’s can fuck off.

“freedom” currently means “I think the tyrant is on my side.”

so are pop tarts.

I didn’t say I disliked it ;)

I was aware of that, it’s “Hardees” where I am.

“I’m just one person, it won’t make a difference if I do it.”

the one time I’ve had a slice of that, it basically just tasted like lasagna with a crust.

old joke my aunt told me when I was a kid-

they’re called “Hot Pockets.”

Home Cooked Classics,

I know that Canadians call it “Kraft Dinner,”

the question becomes “What drugs did it require to take them from this to making the M4 look like a nutria?”

I had the opposite experience. back when I was looking for a sportier bike, I wanted to check out the F800 R. I went to the local BMW Motorrad dealer, told the “sales” dude what I was interested in, he said “Oh, uh, yeah, we had one a while ago. I think we might get another one in a month or two” and then walked away.

ah yes, I remember the days when door handles were made of shitty pot metal, and would break after only a few years.

the Tempo/Topaz twins wouldn’t have been so bad had they used an engine better than that HSC wheezer.  When they dropped the 3.0 Vulcan V6 in it was actually somewhat entertaining to drive.

Payday and Whatchamacallit were my favorites when I was a kid.
