Now even the ads are in slide-show format! XD

This will not convince a single vegan to buy a VW, but will hurt employee morale.

In the USA, anyway, the problem is that the FAA is taking an ass-backwards approach to drone safety. They’re over-regulating those of us who do it the right way (get our part-107 commercial certificate, etc) while not addressing the ones who don’t even know what the right way is.

Cops need drones like I need another hole in my head.

They’re cops first.

Prevailing wisdom is that they’re “better” but it’s kind of like pointing out that Saddam Hussein wasn’t as bad as Joseph Stalin.  Better doesn’t mean good.

I’m surprised the cops didn’t arrest the pilots and charge them with destroying their property.

I don’t know if Canadian cops are any better than those in the US, but without a lawsuit I’m guessing that that poor GA pilot won’t see a dime from them. They’ll have to foot the bill for all repairs. :(

For clarity, Buttonville is a municipal airport and is scheduled to close by 2023 or thereabouts but it’s actually one of the busiest airports, measured by air traffic, in Canada. At one point about 10 years ago it ranked the 7th busiest airport with only internationals in major cities handling more volume. It has a

It’s one thing to manual swap a car that was not available as a manual, or are pretty hard to find with 3 pedals. That’s not really the case with 335s (or any of the Bimmers with this turbo motor from that era). To each there own, but it seems like for something as otherwise plain-jane as this car, it’d make more

Never buy someone else’s project. Why buy a manual converted car when you can just buy a car that was manual from the factory?

This is a pig in a poke.

Manual or no, that’s an insane price for year and mileage, even in today’s stupid car market. ND at $13.5, actual price should be about half that.

I know, right? That’s a full 10% of F-150 production. It’s not some overpriced, short-range compliance vehicle like another certain vehicle mentioned in the morning shift.

I scratched my head too. Between the Mach-E and F-150 Lightning that means that Ford is on track to sell about 50% of the EV volume in 2021 as Tesla did in 2020.

“As much as people say that Twitter is bad, the reason it remains vital is that it’s a window into people who would have been unknowable in the old world.”

I live in the Boston metro and the percentage of EVs has steadily risen in my neighborhood, which is hardly EV friendly (the nearest charge point is about a mile away and there are few garages/driveways.) This has made me skeptical of a lot of arguments against EVs, including the range/charger argument.

It’s hard to pretend spray-painting is done in self-defense.

That’s probably because it’s the only market in America in which an EV is viable from a business standpoint and not, you know, a chore or some kind of virtue signal.

I genuinely don’t get why people do crap like this, there is literally no way in which it will end well. It’s truly idiotic.
