[Insert obligatory small pp joke here just for the record]

I love trucks and even I don’t get these.

Actually, those might have been from David Tracy. I have a hard time telling a Jeep from a Honda in my old age

EVERY GM car from that error, sorry era, was an utter POS. Their trucks were good, but the cars were rancid.

You’re right. I mixed up my Magnum PI and Vice.

I had a new ‘89 Integra LS. I loved that car. It handled well, had an engine that spun up like a sewing machine, and was completely reliable. It was a class above all the other entry-level sporty cars.

While 911 Turbos, Testarossas, and Grand National GNXs are representative of the ‘80s, it’s not like they were everywhere and everyone had one. For that I nominate the 3rd gen Accord. The 1980s were when Japanese OEMs solidified their dominance in bread and butter cars, and here’s one with pop-up lights which were

I’m not sure which car is “The Most 80s.” But whatever it is, it’s definitely a K-Car.

The UZ was developed for the ls400 so refinement was paramount, thus belt. The UR follow up and the FZ before it had chains. The gr has a chain, etc.

Went Toyota 4runner a few years ago. Should have done it sooner. I'd be money ahead if I had skipped all of the previous non Toyota products.

That’s a lot of words to explain that you're a masochist.

Lots of Toyotas have chains - my Tacoma does.

There's a reason Toyota can sell every single RAV4 or other CUV it can make. That engineering is for the most part found on their CUV's. Yeah, parts aren't made to last as long. Replacing them is still fairly easy.

Toyota OEM lugnuts fit steel wheels or aluminum. Look closely. They have a conical seat that fits the steel spare tire. Toyota thought of this. It’ll look kinda funny - but they work just fine with standard conical seat wheels.

Something David hasn’t done before... at least without serious breakdowns...

I live in the U.S. Southeast where we have venomous snakes and spiders, but they are not necessarily lethal.  Australia has snakes and spiders that ARE lethal.  No thanks.

Dude, it’s the bloody nipple stage of the marathon.

5th gear.

America is not really ready for this kind of action.

That usually goes over really well..
