Pretty quick although I was P/Oed. Just grabbed her insurance info and left. Now, the convo with her insurance company was a real hoot. The insurance company at first tried to put blame on both of us rather than just their driver; I told them I had dashcam footage and already had it ready on YT for them to watch. The

Not sure if it counts as a mod, but dashcams. They not only have helped me out, but have helped out other drivers as well.

Have the VTEC solenoid gaskets ever been changed? That may help with the leak too.

If I’m sitting in traffic, I’ll rest my head, in addition to using one of those neck pillows that sit in in between the headrest and the seat, like a JDM VIP style.

Get the S2000. I too own an Acura TL (2005) 6SPD, and recently bought an ‘05 AP2 S2000. Been loving them both, and if you can wrench on the TL, you can wrench on the S2000. Just be prepared to lose out on some creature comforts...

You know what’s even better than egg tarts? PORTUGESE egg tarts. Hard to find at dim sum places (AFAIK) but when they’re available, it’s a go-to for me. The caramelized sugar on top of the custard just makes the aroma so much better than regular egg tarts

I work in advertising tech (sorry guys). Take it one step further when you have ride-hailing services and compartmentalized cars; i.e. individual spaces in sedans for privacy. Not only will they be able to show you ads, but even more custom tailored than just pizza parlors. Ride hailing services can and will most

Know what’s even more satisfying? When said d-bag is riding on your tail, and you want to speed up, but know better because the radar detector is alerting you to a cop right up ahead. So instead, you gently pull over to the slow lane when possible, just to see him zoom past right as the cop comes into view. Should I

I just bought a Suzuka Blue S2000, but now I’m getting flamed by my friends for liking such a “pretty” color =\

Roughly about 5 minutes is “several” minutes. If the device isn’t blown into within the time frame, the car won’t shut off since that’s a pretty dangerous situation. Instead, it’ll just go into panic mode while you’re driving. I.E just like when you push the panic button on your remote, your hazards will start

I live in the (somewhat) boonies, and we have a bunch of field mice everywhere. I have personally experienced rats in numerous vehicles that were parked outside, so much so that my friends now dub me and the problem “Tim & Jerry”.

interior electric components that aren’t too hard to replace. I.e. Dorman makes some pretty good door lock actuators which are about half the price of OEM. I mention the “not too hard to replace” so that if it craps out, it won’t take too much of your time to replace if it does go bad...such as a $20 off brand knock

Oh man, that hole at the air intake box looks like great opening for a rat to build a nest. Case in point: I discovered a little rat nest due to a 2000 Toyota Sienna air box having a little opening in the box between the front grill:

If they saw 2 Fast 2 Furious they’d KNOW a Mustang can’t fit under a big rig (couldn’t find the english version)

Fellow TL owner here

Bolt/nut head slightly rounded out? Get a piece of toilet paper and cover the nut before putting back on the socket. It’ll squeeze with the rounded nut to let you take it off. This trick also helps for when the nut needs to be placed while on the socket, but you can’t reach with your hand

If you read through the whole thread, I believe the amount that the repairs cost around 1442.48, and that Valvoline has agreed to foot the whole bill.

When I was younger I played a lot of Gran Turismo 2. I’d always play with the in-cockpit view, and on one particular day I was having issues winning a race - specifically, a purple Scion XB kept getting in my way. I figured after the first lap that if I bumped the purple XB, he’d slam into the wall ahead of me and I
