@Penny: I am so the opposite. All the things I never knew about pregnancy and postpartum that then came along and smacked me in the face were rough. The ones I knew were coming were easier. The belly was one I knew was coming and it was about 50 million times easier because of it.

@paperymoon: Yes, that weird stomach. I am 8 months out tomorrow and it's just barely starting to go away. I wish I'd developed your attitude earlier. I was okay for the first couple months and then really annoyed when it wasn't gone. I thought it'd be done within 6 months and I was very very wrong. My

@Sev: Oh, so necessary. Not even the uterus shrinking pounding treatment. The fact that you have one or more people who will walk you to the bathroom is an absolute necessity. The first couple nights after I gave birth were hell enough as it was.

@hook and line: Don't understand how anyone could love Rear Window over Vertigo. Insanity!

Am I the only one who thought this sounded like the uncountable number of Facebook groups with the same basic idea? "I bet I can find a million people who ___"

@Mando323: When I was pregnant and had a very light work schedule, I signed up for a lot of local volunteering stuff. Worked the film festival, got shifts at a museum, etc. Was great to fill the time and not too heavy labor. You'd be amazed what kinds of places rely almost completely on volunteers and how much they

@LaurieStrodeTheBoatAshore: Ugh, I'm sorry. I have yet to hear of a GP who has a good and supportive reaction to psych issues. They don't want to write referrals, they just want to give drugs without telling you what's involved. Good for you in pushing for the referral. I would write a letter of complaint along

@Steve Holt's Mother Part Deux: Awesome. I am still deciding on the drink, but I have definitely decided on Steak n Shake. I may not be able to taste the greasy deliciousness, but oh well.

@shepoosclouds: I say go for the cookies. But also go for the tortellini. I usually eat it just with parmesan and olive oil and I like it better that way.

@aliasmisskat: living life mucous free: I wish I'd gotten that instead but I didn't know I couldn't use the pot until I'd bought it and read the instructions. I have a little saline spray thing but it hasn't worked so great. Next time I will have to get one of these instead.

@envirodesigner: The pot's directions say I'm not supposed to use it if completely clogged. Which I totally am. Both sides. Blech. I am a nasty mouthbreather. My husband keeps thinking I'm sighing because I'm upset, but no, I just can't breathe through my nose.

Oh, how I want to enjoy my Friday night with a drink. But my nose is so clogged that I don't know if it's possible for me to drink, not to mention enjoy said drink.

@Spike49: If you don't want to fire her, which it sounds like you're completely entitled to do, then I'd sit her down again and tell her straight out she's getting fired if she doesn't make some specific changes. Maybe that'll get things going?

@StarHen: I felt the same way. Camp is great, if you want to play it up and make a statement about women in music videos, great. But somehow they just don't seem to hit the nail on the head here. It's just too much, not enough that's cohesive, and I found myself wishing they would've just done a cool dance video

@TrulyOutrageous: I was sitting here wondering why it's such a big deal to try and make a movie that appeals to both boys and girls when I read your comment and thought, "Oh, that's why." If Disney weren't such total idiots with the girly propaganda, this would be a non-story.

I really don't see the problem here. Incontinence is one of those things that happens to a lot of people but we can act like it doesn't because no one talks about it. When, 6 weeks after giving birth, I went to see my Dr. for a checkup, I was mortified about it. He didn't bat an eye.

In a lot of places there is a big problem with throwing various bodily fluids at guards in jails/prisons which may explain why, if this was accidental, it ended up being charged. And also explains why it's very possibly not accidental. Some states even have specific laws to deal with it.

@queenieinmanhattan: Yes, sorry. Missed her. Although it's not like Hilary Swank has Hollywood's greatest career. She has her share of award-worthy roles but she's not doing much else of note, you know?

Dear Roger Friedman,
