This interior is... bland. Definitely could do better in today's market.

I'm just here hoping that the one I want (probably still won't happen) will be reasonably priced. The 4WD drive train will probably add more than I'd hope for.

I'm sure they were looking to save gas (which they didn't do anyway), and ended up losing towing, horsepower, and reliability. Poor job on their part. The I-6 however, was ok. Not outstanding, but better than the shit stains those 2.8s and 3.5s were.

Keep in mind this was the second portion of that generation of Colorados. The first ('04-'06) was plagued with failing cylinder heads and several other issues. The '07-'12 were excellent trucks, reliability wise though. Horsepower/towing and mpg-wise, they were on the low end of competetive, but the price also…

I guess if you live in Texas it's overrated, naturally. Texas pride, I guess. But I live in Minnesota and it's one of my favorite regular beers. Especially on tap. Its hard for me to see it as overrated, as I don't hear about it nearly as much.
