I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure she did know. I'm remembering steph's conversation with her like, "y'know how your son was high when he shot that kid… yeah my daughter did that". As in anne knew he had drugs in his system, she just didn't know where the drugs came from.
The thing is, representation isn't purely visual. As a gay guy I've had no trouble relating to characters that are straight or female. That doesn't mean that I'm not invested in seeing actual lgbt characters getting stories too. Just because you can relate to someone that's isn't exactly like you doesn't mean you give…
