There’s definitely a move away from realistic anatomy, which in my opinion means lower quality.

Avoid freeway directly south of Waco. Just drove that route in reverse to get here from Kokomo Indiana. It goes from 3 to 2 lane traffic, and boy oh boy did it look backed up going northbound.

Still using the launch black colored one from the price drop. Every time there was an upgraded version released I was teased, but somehow I resisted. (that pokemon red/blue classic faceplate edition really really tempts me ; u ;) With the NX on it’s way though, kinda no point.

I just drove down a dirt road today laughing because it and autonomy are a lawsuit waiting to happen.

AND THE INTERNET EXPLODES

Looking at it now after the dust has settled, I observe two things:

I’ve got a sweet setup going with all buttons mapped as “gamepad” and using “Track Ball” mode for the right haptic pad. Sadly doesn’t work with Payday 2, since that game locks you into controller or mouse/keyboard upon startup. Works pretty well in L4D2 though! If I get it perfect, I’ll make my config public.

It’s pretty good. There’s a few little quirks here or there that will annoy you, but if you play offline, you can control your experience by copying the “ARK” directory somewhere else and launching the game from there. Allows you to scope things out with the real (updated by steam) version first.

Just make sure you don’t try to upload anything that started out as a samplebot course >:/ Modified the Castle Run level because it has the Super Mario World Theme (for spin jumping) and it wouldn’t upload because it’s “someone else’s work”. That I heavily modified and completely changed......took forever to get those…
