Do swanga owners wear these?
Every Citation I’ve ever seen had a crumpled rear end. They needed louvered trunk windows when backing up!
Dude! That windshield would last all of 5 minutes out here in the boonies of Utah.
Needs a compression test. If that passes muster, I’d be a buyer at $8500. Plenty of rich old boomers at the auctions willing to spend silly amounts for a big V8. The word Stroker will made them walk like a love sick camel. Put an American flag decal in the window and you’d have a bidding war.
With Corithian leather!
FYI, if you have a claims-free discount on your policy, you would lose that for filing a claim. Also, some policies have a disappearing deductible for being claims-free. You’d lose that too.
you forgot the pipe & jacket with elbow patches!
I went from reading Jalop several times a day to now once a week. Slideshows are for clickbaits not snarky automotive sites.
A Tempo wasn’t worth $3200. new. The only thing it has going for it is it’s not an Escort.
I lost a good friend on 12/21 to Covid-19. 46, ex-Marine, picture of health. A good & decent person. Fuck these selfish, entitled assholes.
20 years ago I was stoned. Everything was funnier.
I’m pretty sure you could find an untitled one for the same price sitting on a dealer’s lot somewhere.
I wonder how long that headset was sitting on their shelf. You got lucky right there.
Cool. We’ll send all those babies to your house then. What’s your address?
I dunno. They sold a but-ton of Tercels. I was young insurance agent at the time and the Tercel was the low-priced first new car for many. Hyundai seems to have taken control of that segment now.
Agreed! I grew up & lived in St. Pete & Clearwater from ‘73 to ‘06 until I moved to Utah. I went back once in ‘18 for my dad’s funeral. To quote Lindsey Buckingham, “never going back again”.
Any way you slice it, they’re going to have to pay for their usage. had they calculated the mileage to be used upfront, they’d be paying a higher lease payment. Or if the purchased the vehicle instead of leasing, they’d be dealing with depreciation. Now they’re in a situation where they’ll end up paying in a lump sum…
Just MAKE sure it’s totaled. Otherwise, you’re gonna be driving a repaired piece of shit that crab walks at 55 and has a dinged titled.
Is that in the Landcruiser Museum now? If so, I hope it’s still there for Cruiserfest!
