Welcome Maggie. I would rather drive than fly these days. I logged a lot of airline miles before 9/11, back when flying was cheap and relatively quick and I was more in a hurry. These days I’m pretty much retired and have more time to enjoy traveling. The only time I would fly now is to a funeral and they’d have to be

Nope. Nixon was a moron.

Great motor, had one in my Isuzu Rodeo. It’s the rest on the vehicle that falls apart. A FWD GM is only slightly more reliable than a FWD Chrysler of that era.

I’d only take any of these for free if $2500. was taped to the hood. All are unreliable. The reason someone would give it away is it’s a TIMEBOMB. Run fast and far.

Yeah, cash deals cut out a few clipping points from the dealer in the F&I Dept. Interest, added insurances, extended warranties, etc, so the purchase price would most likely be higher. Dealerships make as much if not more in some cases in the F&I Dept.

I saw this on tv the other morning. Almost spit out my coffee. Congrats!

I had a ‘94 Rodeo LS and a ‘96 Trooper LS both purchased new and at the same time.

Really? I think of the RV people I see here passing through to Yellowstone

The add says Grand Opening. I suspect this price is a traffic grabber. Nice Price. I drove one at an autocross in Tampa. It’s a handful. I wouldn’t want to drive it in traffic.

My last name is King and I hereby dub thee COTD and KomradKickass is duly knighted. Done.

They were friendly because A) you were from the North and B)They wanted your money.

I think there’s one for sale in Philly with a set of snows at DeMuro’ZZ. Not to be confused with DeMuro’z. (previous businesses by the same owner that went under for.....reasons). ;)

Over insure it, drop a match, collect insurance, buy better house. Done.

No no no! Don't take a home equity loan, cash in your 401k. It's your money and you want shiny things.

Negative equity

Oh, they’re all dead sexy. But beginning with the B6, they started getting heavier, more electronic, less reliable and pricier. I would love to call a B8 S4 with a 6 spd my own, unfortunately, I live 150 miles from the nearest dealership and I’m not driving that far for service. And by less reliable I mean constant

The quote was sweet, but the gif was icing on the cake. Bravo!

B5 S4 Avant. After that, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

First car that I thought of too. My dad owned one. His first new car was a Champion in 1949. He also owned a Hawk, a Commander and a Conestoga. He loved Studebakers.

BMW resale and dependabilty? GTFO
