As the proud owner of a 1994 Jeep Cherokee, I can assure you that it is not.

No surprise here. Cars are just giant data mining computers on wheels these days.
My 1997 K2500 is not spying on me.
This. I’ve worked customer service. Most of the time I acted like a human, but there were times when my brain was pretty much checked out and I’m sure I came across as sounding pretty robotic.
TLDR: We dealers are paying A LOT MORE money for poorly engineered vehicles that we make A LOT LESS money on. They got rid of cars our customers want and are charging way too much for cars our customers dont want, and it’s the dealers problem to retain these now pissed-off customers.
It’s funny how the dealers that I trust the least are Dodge/Ram/Jeep dealers. I swear that the car dealership in Fargo was based on a Dodge/Ram/Jeep dealer.
If it’s something important, like catching a flight, why would you trust a fucking stupid computer to get you there on time? I might take a Waymo if I’m ever wanting to waste some time, but I’m not trusting a dipshit algorithm to get me anywhere important.
Doesn’t Domino’s have a history of trying to get the buyers of these to destroy them, because proprietary somethingorother?
If Samcrac’s experience is anything to go by, the future owner will get a cease and desist letter unless all the logos are removed.
he remained a “happy customer” and that he still trusts his Tesla’s “self-driving”
Whatever income is generated by regressive congestion pricing will not be nearly enough to upgrade New York’s severely taxed public transit. There will also be the pressure from Albany to just reduce other funds to MTA as any funds from the regressive tax of congestion pricing comes in.
Congestion pricing is a regressive tax. Rich assholes will take full advantage of the working poor who are forced to abandon their vehicles or shoulder another financial burden.
The evolution of the RAV4 is so depressing. When they came out you could actually get a two door convertible with a stick shift. And in exciting colors too - different shades of blue and green, purple, bright red, etc.
Not necessarily a single vehicle, but rather a whole segment. That being the high end luxury truck - AKA “Cowboy Cadillacs.” I’m not saying that all trucks should be bare-bones utilitarian workhorses devoid of creature comforts, but if you need shit like panoramic sunroofs, powered tailgates, quilted leather seats…
Chrysler. (yes, I know it’s not a model... but it effectively is only selling one model). Even as an owner of a 2023 Chrysler, I think that it is time to put Chrysler out to pasture to join the likes of Plymouth, Imperial, and DeSoto as stand alone brands.
Mazda MX-30. Who wants an EV that only gets about 100 miles per charge?
End the Rav4. What are we at now, 30, 40 years? I have no clue. But everywhere I look is a Rav4. I don’t even care if it’s a good vehicle or not, I’m sick of looking at them. Make something else FFS.
