Hopefully Trump burns the EPA to the ground. That worthless pathetic excuse of a government agency has no value, and does far more harm than good, the sooner it is gone the better.

Likely not much, the 10-20% fuel economy penalty of a modern crossover compared to an equivalent sedan is nothing like the 50%+ fuel economy penalty of the 90s-00s truck-based SUVs whose sales crashed last time there was a spike in gas prices. Sure it will affect sales a little but unless gas hits $5+ per gallon

Probably the biggest weakness is the stock transmission cooler built into the radiator, it is known to crack, contaminate the trans fluid with coolant and destroy the transmission. If you either bypass it with an aftermarket aux cooler or preventatively replace the radiator every 50k-75k mi (or 5-6 years whichever

7,000 rpm on the standard Coyote, 7,500 rpm on the BOSS 302 variant.

I thought everyone knew the only appropriate vehicle for parking in Phily is the Paramount Marauder:

@PheonixNFA, make that at least two. I nearly bought a Camaro a couple years ago until I actually sat in one and took it on a test drive. The poor visibility, lack of head room, and generally “cramped” interior lead me to the nearest Ford dealer and I left with a Mustang instead.

@Chasaboo, The 25 year import rule exists for no other reason than Mercedes and BMW buying off a bunch of our corrupt slime-ball lawmakers to get it passed because they were tired of having to compete with grey market importers. It serves absolutely no purpose (other than boosting the profit margin of the automakers

@ Pickup_Man Yes, but not many, mostly dual-sports (Kawasaki KLR, Suzuki DR series, Honda XR650, Yamaha TW200) and entry-level cruisers (Honda Rebel, Yamaha v-star 250, Suzuki S40). Of course carbs are still common on dirt bikes as well.

Admittedly, the Jeep 4.0L I6 is known for making it to insanely high mileage as well, unfortunately at least up north the vehicles they are in often crumble into piles of rust (rust proofing was never Jeep's strong suit) before they have the chance or are destroyed by accidents/stupidity (ex. hydrolocking) off-road.

And make it a circa-1950s Kent with the “Micronite” (asbestos) filter (which was marketed as “The Greatest Health Protection in History", lol).

Nothing inherently (except for the 07-12 models with the gutless 3.8L V6 and 42RLE auto trans), but they're cranking out 200k plus a year so it's not like there won't be plenty to replace it (doesn't appear to even be a Rubicon or other "special edition). I realize they made a ton of XJs, ZJs, WJs, TJs, etc. but those
if you’re a Jeep lover, prepare to weep.
eh, it's just a JK, no big loss, especially if it's an early (07-12) one with the 3.8L "minivan special" engine and 42RLE trans.

But the world is far better off if we just let natural selection take its course rather than piling on safety features to allow those who text and drive (or make other stupid decisions) to survive and reproduce.

Mechanically yes, unfortunately if you live any place that salts the roads the frames have a tendency to turn into Swiss-cheese pretty quickly (Tacomas have the same issue), here in PA virtually every one more than 10 years old (old enough to fall into the $4k limit) had serious frame rust, that either was already bad
