After the mess of Preacher it’s wild how much better this show is than the source material. It feels stripped down to its core elements and reassembled from there, peppering in references to some of the comics worst excesses without indulging in them, Preacher in hindsight feels like a messy first draft of what

It’s easy enough to understand when you remember that they’re frightened, stupid, spoiled babies.

I thought Rogan was on an all-meat diet. Lately he’s looking like Commander Strax.

I bet it would be a thrill for Zack Snyder to visit a real movie set and see what a director does all day.

João Ruas per their Comic-Con panel, with some strong James Jean vibes. Templesmith’s on the original series? Cool, further reason to check it out.

It’s because the world is a flaming pile of shit right now, and everything sucks. And seeing joy is just about all we fucking have. And this girl is joy. And pretty fucking talented. And super fucking cool. And we all need that in our lives.

Watch the video of her watching Grohl’s response. Her excitement after the song ends — she dances around her room and then runs to hug her dad — is lovely. Shes the good stuff when we have too much the bad stuff.

I played and enjoyed FF7R, still visit Kitty Cat Island in ACNH every day and I adored Murder by Numbers. I would only add Half-Life: Alyx, though I guess I’m not surprised it’s not on the list, being a VR game.

Keanu Reeves may return as Constantine in a new film

These people are just wrong. From soup to nuts.

“any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either [J.K. Rowling] or I.”

To me, the best scene in the film was the airplane missile strike. I have never before or after seen a film so effectively readjust it’s own stakes, and say “no, we’re entirely for real about the situation here”.

Cars 2 makes Cars 3 look like Cars 1

As great as this scene is, and it is, it’s no “Dash discovering that he can run on water”.

I think Adventure Time is worth watching for it's animation alone.
Adventure Time is heads and shoulders above unsupervised, it's probably the best animation you can find on TV period.  I mean, It doesn't rely on tweening, this is hand drawn traditional animation.  Most other animated shows only present their

I love the AT animation style. It harkens back to the noodle-limbed styles of the earliest days of animation and allows for a fluidity of motion that only becomes possible again at multi-million dollar Disney studio levels of realism.
