A near perfect example of Bobby’s car (the 560 variety) are netting 50-60 grand right now. The body style mentioned above will NEVER EVER appreciate like those ...
Interesting thing about older Mercedes ... the difference between the wholesale value and perceived retail value ... the car you mention, at auction, brings three to five grand ... I just sold a 2003 (new body) with about the same miles at auction for a little over nine grand.
Minor damage??? I bet its $30,000 at minimum ....
Im not so sure that some of those are actual used cars. That bing said, I just watched a 2014 ELR with 24,000 miles on it bring $26500 at an auction in Detroit ... still WAY less than the $50K they are asking for theirs ... Its not always about savings from MSRP, its about being closer to the real value of the car.…
I own a 2015 LR RR Autobiography L Black Edition, from day one, the tire sensors, for no apparent reason, like to warn me that all of my tires are flat and are at zero PSI ... gets your attention, the first few times ...
Ill take a 10-15 year old LX450/470/Land Cruiser for that kind of dough ..... CP
Theres already a post here .... but the nice thing about these cars are the actual TRANSACTION price ... 8-10K off MSRP, makes this car a bargain for 16-20K$ .... Its not the best car in the segment (and certainly not the worst) BUT might just be the best overall value ...
The dealer could have had another deal on the car at substantially more profit and chose to see if the customer would call his bluff and buy the car anyways ... thats my bet ...
My boat is a Sonic 396, It weighs 11,500lbs .... goes about 85 @ WOT and drinks the aforementioned 65 GPH .... I just don’t get how these engines suck 270!!! GPH ....
270 GPH? Really?? I have lots of big boats, some performance and some cruiser types ... My biggest gas hog has twin supercharged 650HP merc racing engines and drinks about 65 GPH on the pins ... are you sure thats an accurate number?
You have a few facts a little backwards .... I purchased my new Porsche at an $11,000 discount (new Boxter S) .... and my Chrysler store sells every Hellcat at or near sticker, as well as new Wranglers. But as you stated correctly, its all a supply and demand issue ...
Crack Pipe ... I have owned TONS of like-new used cars that don’t sell for that many multiples of their original MSRP .... 5000 mile Grand National, 88 Cutlass - 900 miles, 1995 ZR1 -900 miles etc .... There is no way this car is worth anywhere $21000 ....
I owned a 1971 Mercedes 300SEL 6.3 for a couple of years when I was in college in the late 80s ... what a cool car!!! Amazing ride, amazing tech and super fast (for the day). A neat ride that would embarrass any Z28, mustang or Z car from a stoplight. A true fond memory.
I thought the sales Gal at my MB dealer was bullshitting too, when I bought mine .... still a bit gimmicky if you ask me .... but I bought it ...LOL
I bought the top of the line S550 in 2015, EVERY option except for the 7500 Stereo option ... executive rear seats, refrigerator, Magic Body, all of it ... This is still the most amazing car I have ever owned. I traded it for a Range Rover a few months ago and I sill miss all the tech. The adaptive cruise control…
Saw this on a Jag commercial this weekend, me and all my buddies commented at the same time, “Jaguar makes a SUV?” .... Nice car but from the first, quick commercial glance — it looks like the new Volvo ...
Its like driving an iPad .... awesome .... I loved mine till I totaled it ... if you have never had one or driven one, I suggest you do. Cool ass car. Before y’all go loading up your pitchforks, Im 100% Jalop and own a ton of “our” kinds of cars .... i3 is super cool ... in its own way.
No Penthouse “forum” stories from ya’ll .... ??? Really? Where’s the creativity ....??
Good thing you said it first ... looks like a Chinese rip-off of an F150. Blah
