I was sure that Chen Ing Hau ( [en.wikipedia.org] ) would rate this list. His CIH virus caused the most damage in one day that I have seen personally. I was a PC Tech for Best Buy in April of 1999 when four customers came in with useless hard drives, and one with a fried BIOS. I'm sure there were many more around…
