They failed to prepare the lines, ignoring the warnings from 2011 and ensuring that the power would fail, and cause the price to spike. The idea that they can now profit from that willful neglect is what is wrong with texas and the GOP in a nutshell. 

Republicans must hurt BAD in order to cure their obsession with “owning the libs” over basic governance. Too bad Mother Nature is non-partisan and the GOP voting block never learns a damn thing.

I think that most that vote for him don’t like him. A corpse with an R next to it could win in Texas, and would probably outperform Cruz.

If there’s any job that I’d like to see an illegal alien actually steal from an American, it’d be hers.

While I do think it’s extra magical that Arizona historically was part of Mexico, when we get right down to it what matters is her district, which is 87.9% white, 18% Hispanic, and skews heavily towards asshole.

This is the same Arizona GOP that wants to pass legislation that allows the state to throw away the voter decision on presidential Electoral votes and have the legislature decide instead.

I spent the last year or so trying to explain to people that the real problem has been the Republican party. Trump had nothing to do with this acquittal. That’s the work of McConnell and Cruz and rest of the Republican Nazi Party who worked directly with the defense lawyers and devised strategies to stonewall the Democrats.

Justice is dead. Rule of law is dead. Senate Republicans have just proven how they will totally back white supremacy and hatred of non-whites over the good of the Nation, using the trial as an excuse to continue cause division and pain.

I have so many things to say that I have nothing to say.

It is annoying that the media is reporting this as “Senate acquits Trump”. The Senate didn’t acquit Trump. 43 Republicans acquitted Trump. Republicans Block Conviction of Trump should be the headline.
