Ultima has some fantastic games in the franchise: Ultimas 3, 4, and 7(boths parts) especially.

There was a reference to an interview elsewhere (perhaps in Gaygamer?), where Gaider states he felt like having Anders make an advance because it felt unnatural that the player was forced to make the first move in every romance - or something to that effect.

I had Fighting Street for the Turbo CD. Now there... is a frustratingly annoying game.

People did complain then, it was just slightly different since it was the first the game in the series. Also note, that almost all of the random repeated maps in Mass Effect were optional - the story planets were unique.

I think it's great to have a variety of options in romance, and while DA2 has many many many issues - the lack of romance choices (relative to number of party members) isn't one of them.

This COULD be good. The "Boy and His Blob" remake was actually done very tastefully. The Gameboy Advance remake of Downtown Nekketsu Monogotari was also done alright... but they left out co-operative play, the thing that had made it so fun originally!

I'd probably pick it up Day 1 if it had a nice port of Mass Effect 1 on it. Power is relative though. There was a lot of talk about console power around the launches of this past generation. The Wii being comparable or only marginally better than the original Xbox was mentioned, for instance.

I'm hoping there won't be any censorship if it heads this way... surely we're past that now? We can market an adult game to adults like it's an R-rated movie and no one will say, "But, but.. the children!"?

Japan and PAL both got the International version, the U.S. didn't get the "updated re-release". So, Japan did get our version, but they later got an additional version.

The International version removed most of the barriers from the sphere grid, allowing one to screw around as much as you liked.

Works for Steam though, and mac & pc still compete if commercials are any indication. The console publisher wouldn't do this for exclusives of course, but perhaps it makes sense for the distributors.
