Not so much two versions as two parts. The U.S. "version" of the part that was released here was altered too, but not as much as the original Persona.

@Shinta: I liked this one better (came out within a year or so of Super CIV too).
Sometimes I think they've gotten too big for their own good. Focus groups... when you think of artistic vision, do you think.. "focus groups"?
It seems odd that Square wants people to play across... what, three different platforms to get all of the story to a single series? Who's idea was that?
I can definitely identify with this. A big part of hanging out with one of my friends was taking my single player game over, and trading off control until we beat it. Also, your Ys I & II experience makes you a cooler person to me.
I think you mean pull "off" 3d, not of.
I bet the friend that rushed to help was the party healer and/or crowd control.
I know they've been saying this will be an arcade/psn release, but does anyone else kinda want a disc copy of it in HD? Even if it's a limited run, I prefer the permanence of a physical copy.
The Apple way: people will buy our shit at any price!
I wasn't that impressed with this DLC, thought the Claptraps saying "I see three red lights" when they die sometimes was a nice touch.
Not unheard of to have an "unarmed" option in a FPS. Wasn't the "Mexican" faction in the old Team Fortress mod's "Border" game an unarmed team? Horribly tasteless, but that'll pop up when creators aren't working for profit.
@Tyrunn: I was amenable to the British classification system when I stayed there, though the prices leave something to be desired.
It would be nice if they introduced translucency for the panels, so you could actually SEE the premium themes you've paid for.
On a portable? Really? I don't even really care about graphical fidelity, but there is no public transit here... I only play portables while I'm home.
I'm screwed multiple ways on this one.
@Tyrunn: The current system of rating is submitted to voluntarily by companies and judgment is meted out by a private company. In that sense, the government isn't involved at all right now. Some may disagree with the ratings made by the ESRB, and for good reason: romantic/sexual content/language is all deemed…
@Tyrunn: That sounds like a more equitable solution. Really, while the penalty seems odd considering the items in question, I'm mostly against a government censorship process driven by misinformation.
@Tyrunn: The law there is different then. The California one is set up to penalize the seller, not the buyer. Ergo, why there'd be more concern about buyer's remorse here.
There was a discussion about this that came up with my boss awhile back. I work at Gamestop part-time (boo-hiss, I don't want to subscribe/reserve... got that out of the way now?) for the game discount, and occasional access to various goodies. It pays poorly, as you might imagine a job where a bazillion high school…
Ultima IV was great, though most games since then have gone the route of a more simplistic "kill big bad" formula (In Ultima as well really, before the series was killed by EA anyway). The idea was to personify the virtues, and the game kept track of whether or not your character was being an ass. It had interesting…
