Yeah, here’s the thing. You know what the opposite of love is, right?

We live in a culture where everyone wants a participation trophy and approval for unhealthy habits...and now obesity is the #1 healthcare issue in the US, one of the fattest countries in the world.

If you love yourself at a certain weight...why would you go through all of the time, effort and sweat to CHANGE that, dumbass?!

We’re not intimidated by you, or scared, or whatever. We are just in awe of how oblivious you are to the health risks associated with your weight. The diabetes, blood pressure, joint pain, etc. We are shocked that you don’t care, and in fact, you flaunt your obesity as something you are proud and happy with. It’s

Overweight people live SHORTER lives you clown, do I really need to show you the statistics??!!

WTF are you yammerin’ about? AA obesity was ONLY mentioned because this very author bragged about it, so I linked to the FACT that AA obesity is #1 as is obesity #1 in the US which directly affects ALL healthcare premiums, idiot.

so your response to one shitty thing our taxes/premiums have to pay for is to point out other shitty things they have to pay for too? sounds like you should be a bit more enraged, possibly do something about it?

I don’t think it was intended to be a troll comment at all. It brings up a very important point, and perhaps this is a better or kinder way to rephrase it: if you want to really and truly love yourself, like the author says, priority number one needs to be treating your body in a way that allows you to squeeze every

i.e. “I was proven wrong so instead here’s a cute pic”

Read:

Childbirth isn’t a fucking symptom you idiot! And it sure as hell isn’t something that is unhealthy!

It is your taxes and health care premiums that pay for unhealthy-ass MFs, tho.

Diabetes DIRECTLY correlates to obesity, this isn’t even debatable. being mentally health in no way offsets physical obesity, it’s simply denial. That’s like finding out you have cancer, refusing treatment but staying upbeat “hoping” it goes away.

Maybe you aren’t paying attention, obesity is the #1 cause of healthcare premiums increasing...would you care if your’s went up while I chain smoked to offset it?

“body positive” and obesity have no place together. Body positive has become the new “I’m fat and tired of trying, so now I love myself”.

Lots of hard thinking there, dumbass.

You should, your rising healthcare premiums help to support this mindset.

AA obesity is the highest of all races...now add in that obesity is now the #1 biggest healthcare cost in the US. So to recap, I bust my ass to stay in shape and have HUGE issues with overweight people feeling that life is rainbows and unicorn farts while watching premiums continue to soar.

Maybe this is a different topic but my issue with obesity has nothing to do with beauty or how you look but the health issues that arise from being overweight. If you’re healthy and happy its not a problem but skipping over the health risk seems irresponsible to me.
