Once again, not a fan of voter id laws, but you can enter college regardless of immigration status. You can’t get a Concealed Carry Permit as a non-US citizen.

Not a fan of these laws, but the last question is easy and rational. College IDs are issued to every who goes to college regardless of immigration status. Concealed Carry Permits are issued to citizens of the US.

So then what is the big deal that a valid GOVERNMENT ID is required when voting if a valid ID is required when registering? I’m not able to make the leap to this creating extra barriers for voters, yet.

You don’t have to be a resident of a state to go to a state college... so a college ID isn’t proof of state residency... what am I missing here?
