I...wow.

I’m glad some folks are enjoying this game; everyone has their somewhere they want to be, and that somewhere doesn’t work for other folks—and that’s fine. I enjoy a great many things others think are a waste of time.

This whole kerfuffle, though, comes off as one giant kettle of “we coasted way too hard on a

Right so you have to kill all of them. It’s an interesting system for sure and definitely makes for better busy work then tailing people.

Just kind of makes you wonder if a hyper space kamikaze run is that devistating, why didn’t they just blow up the death stars that way, woulda been much faster and more effective. Hell they could have remote piloted it or had a droid do it.

He should also be allowed Porgs. And a shirtless Kylo Ren with a comically oversized chest. And a cackling puppet Yoda setting Jedi relics on fire with a lightning bolt. He should be allowed all those things and more. Fuck it.

People keep bringing up this is a movie about failure to somehow shield it from criticism because it somehow is breaking new ground... but Empire was about failure. In fact I’d say Empire is even more about failure because they actually failed. Han captured, Luke defeated.. you know failure. People died in Last Jedi

Hmm, I don’t see any conversation about THAT Leia scene. Avoiding the tough questions, are we?

The movie was a big disappointment though, right? I felt let down. I don’t want to get into specifics as it’s way too early for spoilers.

Actually, if anything the numbers have gone up recently. It’s doing pretty well. They’ve added a co-operative Horde mode that has a surprising amount of depth and is really fun. I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot.

You're assuming this was all Levine's call. As I alluded to in the story, we don't actually know. He talked in his post about winding down the studio, but I've got to think that the publisher/owner of the studio, Take Two, has some say about that. I'm also not sure what the math is for a publisher or a studio when the

EVE is a game I prefer to read about than actually play.

Because you can only be game critic if you agree with every other game critic?

I like the black one.

Some of the best writing I've ever seen on Kotaku!

Take your pick, folks.

The whole problem is that there's too much traffic and that absorbs all of the bandwidth; the whole reason most companies take their servers offline, entirely, is to do some kind of security modifications so that way when they bring them back up the servers aren't immediately paralyzed by all of the traffic again.

Read between the lines. They're not going to come out and insult their own game, even if it was pretty clearly a rushed piece of work. This is their way of saying they've learned from the mistakes of DA2 for this next one.

If Sony is wise, they will start selling that pillow while the demand is hot.
