haha, yah, i'm familiar with ekman... the tv show lie to me is kinda based on him isn't it? also the whole FACS system with the microexpressions. i know it in context with animation but i always thought it would be interesting to try to figure out micro-expressions in real life and/or really be able to "read people"

weird thing though is that a "photo" smile is actually different from a "real life" smile. it's true for me and i've asked others as well.

clearly, the ultimate experiment is if god can make a taco so spicy that even he can't eat it... take that religion!

personally, i thought kick-ass was merely meh but i agree with your premise.

i think in the movie version i saw, that scene or moment was not in there... i think they added it in one of the video x 2.5s or something like that... and probably because people like me were saying "WTF?!?!?!"

"I'm disappointed that Magneto and Prof X will be enemies from now on."

haha, yeah, he had a strong and immediate resemblance to harry potter's buddy.

shockingly, i will be in a minority along with you, that whole heartedly agree.

i don't think there's any superiority with real models. it's just that it's far more likely in this day and age to see a low budget cgi modeling job than a low budget real model show.

what a ludicrously well done article! bravo!

errr, i think it's you that's missing the beat brainiac...

"No matter how complex things get in my life-time, I will never believe that paint emanated of its own accord from a blank and soulless canvas, creating the masterpiece in which we live, with the freedom to help or harm, love or ignore."

tangent - FYI - there are a lot of studies recently showing that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger", while rugged sounding and comforting in a consolation prize way is actually pretty false.

i really don't understand why clean drinking water is an issue if you're by the sea. seriously, couldn't a solar still produce enough?

and that's the thinking of a neanderthal.
