actually, isn't it the autobot's skyfire?

the funny thing about that article is that there seems to be an understanding that hollywood has been TRYING TO MAKE CRAP.

one of the best movies of 2010 and also maybe one of the best and most memorable scores in a decade.

totally totally agree with tron and iron man 2 being on the worst.

actually, i'm surprised china is going this route - they should be going for a beehive of UCAVs instead.

@ProsumeThis: "quantity has a quality all its own," joey stalin

@warchief_zuljin: completely... wtf! argh... people keep forgetting that 2 hours is only so much finite amount of time! it can be too long for a given story, it can be just right, or it can be far FAR too little and wind up having to give us a "cliff's notes" version of a story that needed a lot more time to tell

@scrapking: according to "the hollywood economist", the domestic gross enables you to ballpark those other venues which are assumed to end up being about the same:

@Jesse_Astle: actually, i thought the idea of CLU coming into the real world was really really problematic. none of their weapons or technology would work!

@Jesse_Astle: hahaha... well, if you leave out all the flaws that you admit the movie had, there's not a whole lot that's left.

didn't know about the comic but took one look at the frame and knew that was bill sienkiewicz. love that guy. his elektra and new mutants were fantastic.

@TuxRug: not well... you can take out the necessity for constant ground contact with a gyroscope though.

expensive glasses that you have to recharge is the deal breaker for me...

can someone please clarify whether these are cross-eyed or parallel? same technique doesn't work for both and some seem to be parallel, others seem to be crossed.

@steven.fleming: actually are these parallel? i can't freakin' tell.

BETTER WAY (for cross eyed... but is this cross eyed? or what? i can't tell):

@steven.fleming: actually this is describing the method needed for looking at non-crossed stereograms.

@WampaCow: that's cool. yeah, i can see how it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. for me, the 3d effect seems inherently gimmicky (especially with the glasses) and it seems to conspire to make movies into theme park "rides".
