@jamjen: there are pants clips specifically for this - they're just little aluminum cuffs that you place over the bottom of your pant leg after you fold the extra material down. worked great for me when i was biking to work. [www.amazon.com]

@acidrain69: AH! yes! that's it perfectly. that's the crux. i didn't think about THAT - that there was no HDMI ***IN*** on a computer or a peripheral that has such a port! the only things that have hdmi in ports are monitors yes?

@LegacyCrono: the biggest disconnect seems to be focus plane - you're not actually focusing your eyesight onto a small LCD screen... the idea then is that you're looking around at your real world and focusing on objects that are in front of you and this device projects the light onto your retina so that BOTH the video…

i remember as a kid being well and truly mystified when han solo says, "then i'll see you in hell"... i was like... "but han is a good guy. and the other guy is a good guy. so why would they be meeting in hell? is it a brief stopover? and even so, why meet in hell of all places?" i remember sitting in the theater…
