WTF?!?!? no shadowcat/kittypride?!?!?!

looks cool but it was offputting to see those battleship canon turrets spinning around with zero recognition of mass.... those things are freakin' gigantic but they move like toys.

@Brangdon: "Inside the ring, much of the gravitational attraction from the material below you will be cancelled by attraction from the material above you."

@silver-bolt: how do i use that inside of twitter without navigating to another page?

@Vanilla-Terror: surgery was called playing God too. according to your views, ANY human intervention in a natural process would be "playing God". so no surgery for you? ride a horse instead of a car? never get on a flight (after all, if God wanted you to fly, you'd have wings right?).

@jamjen: there are pants clips specifically for this - they're just little aluminum cuffs that you place over the bottom of your pant leg after you fold the extra material down. worked great for me when i was biking to work. [www.amazon.com]

@acidrain69: AH! yes! that's it perfectly. that's the crux. i didn't think about THAT - that there was no HDMI ***IN*** on a computer or a peripheral that has such a port! the only things that have hdmi in ports are monitors yes?

@acidrain69: right, we're talking about the same thing up to the point of "buffer and decrypt".... my contention is JUST STORE IT... bit by bit to disk.

@acidrain69: huh? i'm assuming that it's EASY to just record the raw unencrypted data from the hdmi wire... akin to recording unencrypted video.

@acidrain69: right but that's my question, couldn't you do the handshake (i'm assuming that this is a one time deal) and then just RECORD the encrypted stream from the hdmi? like onto your hard drive.

@acidrain69: right but the handshake is easy to do with a cpu emulation... it's easy to pass that gate.

i don't get it... why does it have to be hardware based and real time?

@LegacyCrono: the biggest disconnect seems to be focus plane - you're not actually focusing your eyesight onto a small LCD screen... the idea then is that you're looking around at your real world and focusing on objects that are in front of you and this device projects the light onto your retina so that BOTH the video

i remember as a kid being well and truly mystified when han solo says, "then i'll see you in hell"... i was like... "but han is a good guy. and the other guy is a good guy. so why would they be meeting in hell? is it a brief stopover? and even so, why meet in hell of all places?" i remember sitting in the theater

is there anything for automatic url shortening? that's what twitter really needs.

@EnemaBagJones: hahaha... wow... well for professional apps, the price is actually not unheard of.

wow, if not for the problem with wipe off, this would have been the perfect replacement for a chalkboard... i suppose you can just use a large pad of newsprint with the crayons but not the same....

@jbarr: for some reason, i suspected that the lime green ones were the culprit... i remember getting headaches from the smell...
