You have a link to the GIF? Would love to see that.

Definitely the TIV over the Dominator. TIV's the original and truly a one-off, weird work vehicle prepared for the war zone that is a tornado as opposed to the Dominator which is pretty much just an armored Tahoe/Yukon/Ford Super Duty.

And the "F-ing Bob!" picture in 3… 2… 1...

This thing: Proteus by Scaled Composites, at the time led by Burt Rutan.

You mentioned it: Lightbulbs. Ordered lightbulbs because the exact same make/type was available on Amazon for several dollars less than the big box store a couple of miles away. Shipment arrived and more than half of the bulbs were non-functional. Sure, can and did return them, but still a PITA. Seems like they were

This is EXACTLY what I had when I was a kid. (Well, not exactly. My body was painted matte black with yellow trim. Paint job was so bad Earl Scheib would've been proud.) Anyway, these Tamiya rides (Grasshopper, Hornet, Bug) taught me a lot about cars with their differential and suspensions and whatnot. Very cool. Can

Daddy?

So, how does he steer (or keep it on-line)? On-board FPV camera? It's hard enough driving a regular RC car straight. This is nuts!

I give you the Helio Courier. Been around for a while. Has a 28 mph minimum control speed, can carry 1,300+ lbs including five passengers, range of 950 nm, top speed of 170 mph. Capable of very short take-offs and landings, even with a large crosswind component. Was always fun to see it perform at Oshkosh.

Hate to be that guy, but… McDonnell Douglas with one "s". One "s" only, please. And, it should be quarter scale. That's quite a bit different from quarter-sized. Otherwise, decent writeup. Thanks.

Officials have now identified those responsible for the launch:

The original Rotring 600 pen (and pencil). Heavy, durable, feels great in your hand. Had mine since 1994. (Not sure why there's a watch in this pic, but, hey, i didn't take it.)

"Insanely Stupid BMW Driver"? Written by the Office of Redundancy Office? (Just trollin' I just wish I had one.)

Do you know what the street value of this truck is?
