This Is Jim Rockford...

Cesar Romero's moustache was the only thing that helped him survive three years playing the character.

Of course it didn't, the Joker isn't a fucking deeply complex psychological role to anyone other than edgy geeks. It's not like Nicholson sits around convulsing anytime Partyman plays because it brings back all the trauma.

If people disliking aspects of a show is so threatening to your enjoyment of it maybe a review comment section isn't the best place to be.

More that it bores me, NuWho has it's moment's but it's so often hampered by a form it's needlessly tied itself to. toddleoo now.

When the show has a track record for the exact kind of thing it's not a massive leap, I get that you're personally want to be positive about Who but that doesn't mean everyone else has to pretend like it doesn't engage in rinse and repeat bullshit.

Adric's death works for me a lot better than these built up tragic endings, the fact that it was a result of the stories plot rather than having the entire story built around it made it more shockingly sudden.

Well if the shoe fits and all that bollocks.

I'm enjoying Bill more than any of Moffat's previous companions and most of Davies as well, presumably this means something horrible and dragged out will happen to her. Unlikely she'll end up being correlated with the "Cryptic Phrase of the Year" this time around though.

Previous Incarnation because Moffat needs to mine the entirety of Lawrnece Miles's Doctor Who work.

Turning the characters "normality" into a fucking character arc was a nightmare.

Well we all need a hobby…

Nah, still says a lot when the most vapid garbage is being held up as something new. Without Watchmen Batman #21 would be just another issue.

I don't think Watchmen's ever been treated as part of a wider DC Multiverse until now, there's the usual fan bollocks of Dr Manhattan fucking off to create it at the end of Watchmen but until now that's quite rightfully remained as stupid fan bollocks.

Ewing's really got working around big loud crossovers down well, he's been putting out my favourite Avengers related titles since his work on Mighty. Bit of a shame the USAvengers clearly weren't given much thought for this given they seem like the ideal counterpoint to HYRDA bullshit.

I like the line up even if I do miss a lot of the original Crew, apparently Kasper was in the most recent World of Wakanda.

I mean clearly this comic was inspired by Watchmen, so nice dodge but not that effective

Which would say more about fans than the qulity of the issue.

I enjoyed the first issue of BP&The Crew but the parent title lost me pretty quickly, I'd trade it but charging the same price as a normal collection for four issues is putting me off.

When the pitch still involved the Charlton characters it was a fairly by the numbers murder mystery Moore reasoning that it wouldn't really matter what set of characters you used, apparently everyone involved arrived at the decision to use new characters drawing from the Charlton characters.

I've seen the Button get the same treatment from all but the most slavish of comic sites, nothing's exactly created the impression this issue made a big splash outside of aping elements of a better book.
