I'm enjoying how Ennis is using him in the Dog Welder stuff, the solo titles all feel a bit "Wiki plot summery" in how they handle John and his world.

His accent always threw me off, it was kinda like watching a decent cosplayer in a shitty show.
Young Animal's great, Rebirth's been fine if a bit paint by numbers so having a imprint that seems less concerned with the big picture is nice. I'm looking forward to Ellis's Wildstorm reboot.
Sheringford Holmes is one of those weird things that were made wholesale by fans because Conan Doyle didn't really give a fuck after a point, he's the hypothetical Older, Older Brother.
Penguin could have been literally any Batman villain, all I want is Burgess Meredith in a big pink top hat for fuck sake.
Yeah I'm always up for Frankenstein even though his solo was pretty disappointing after Seven Soldiers, like the entire portion of it is just Morrison seeing what mental shit he could have Frankenstein at this point.
Been listening to Lord Huron, really enjoying their stuff.
I'll be picking up Shade the Changing Girl, Deadman, Midnighter and Apollo and Superman.
Oh I admit that the Burton vibe is the "Batman" look give or take a few elements like the costume and the general idea of Batman that TAS thankfully changed but the '66 Batmobile is just a better looking car.
It's a toss up between it and the Burton one to be honest, though '66 has the nice bonus of actually being able to turn corners.
The '66 Digital series always made sure the moustache was visible any time he appeared in an issue.
60s Batman has some of the best design choices of any comic book adaption, the entire world always looks great even when they got a smaller budget.
So like when bits of them fall off is that like losing a limb, is he going to have to deal with phantom-spoiler syndrome?
Also Columbo which might be the most therapeutic tv show ever made, what with the whole smug rich assholes getting outsmarted week after week.
Flex Mentallo: Muscle Man of Mystery.
Not a patch on Robert Vaughn though.
"Codename Dracula Confidential" should be a film noir.
Apparently he does, amazing. https://www.comixology.com/…
Doesn't he fight Dracula in the second issue?
The only way I could see Sandman working as a film would be as an 80s Jim Henson movie that runs with the basics of the plot.
