Its ultimately your ride, but I never really thought about until I saw the Pontiac G8 at work that has full Holden gear. Granted, I think the Commodore is a much better looking car, but this G8 is one of few I even notice. So there must be something to it.

Yes, having one of these tailgating me in my Corvette in the morning is awesome. Truck design in general is crazy, I miss my vinyl floor and manual windows in my old Silverado.

While the Cruze may not be a BAD car, it certainly isn’t a great car. The Corolla is boring, but crazy reliable. The Civic comes an a number of packages that are way better than anything in the Cruze lineup. The SS was the only one worth a damn and we didn’t get it in the US.

It would still be half the price of most cars it beats on the track. If it's only 20% better than the ZR1, it will be worth $150k. I think the $170k is Z06 level equipment, my guess is an NA base model for $125k. That is cheaper than most everything worth putting it up against.

This is the exact car that came to mind, oh damn.

I don't get it. It looks like a bad 80's prototype. At least it is too expensive to even consider.

This is why in all my car buying years I have never bought new. Current car is amazing, MSRP of $48k new in ‘01, purchased in ‘14 for $14k with 72k miles. 4 years later and she’s paid off and now has 170k miles and averages 24mpg. I love my Corvette Z51.

I have the same issue with the looks of the new GT-R. While not ugly by any stretch, it also isn’t very interesting or exciting, either. I do like the R32 with the boxed flares, like the E30 M3, it gives it a little attitude. I would own an R32 or R34 if I could convert it to left hand drive.

Street racing is stupid. I did it when I was a kid, but shows like Street Outlaws encourage idiot behavior. I have jackasses try to race me in my car every damn day, like some Fast and Furious STi or other turbo import sporting a fart can with something to prove against a Corvette. It is just silly.

While I have never thought of the Camaro as anything but a muscle car, the new Z28 is legit for a street machine and would be fun on the back roads. And there are 2 in my area, hmmm. A gray for $59,999

I have had the same problem with some Italian cars and I am only 6’4”. But I do fit into my C5 and have room for a helmet.

Those S10’s rattled worse than the Camaro’s did back then. While not an awful truck, the build quality in those years was lacking.

Wow. just wow. I still haven’t ridden the 1290 but I love the look and the bike is insane on paper.

I hate selling stuff on craigslist, but it is the easiest way sometimes. I would love your Skyline, but I would spend too much money trying to make it into a left hand drive car to even make it worth while. But it would be damn fun.

The Audi just looks squaty to me. I do like the manual trans and that is a good price. 45k miles on a car that is 8 years old IS considered low miles. I put 30k a year on my Corvette.

A friend of mine is flying to Texas to pick one up in January. I really like this car, but not enough to give up my current ride quite yet. I am holding out for a used ZR1 in another few years. I need a manual.
