It wont tempt any truck people away from their jacked up coal rolling toys that dont do any work

Lexus GS350 enters the ring.

(I’m pretty sure the Avalon hybrid is the basis for the Lexus ES hybrid recommended above, also 700-800+ miles on a tank drooooool)

I mostly offroad with FJ’s, and can probably count the number of 4Runners with KDSS in our club on one hand. I’ve never personally seen KDSS having a problem on the trail, I was also unable to find a thread/post with many of the key words I’d think to search for. What year is your truck, does the stock armor piece

the OEM skid can handle the weight of the vehicle on rocks.

I can’t decide how much of a poser I’d be if I got the TRD Pro grill logo put on too.

My ‘18 TRD Offroad was $37K before TTL, in Denver. Didn’t go with the KDSS because the hydraulic line routing under the frame behind the driver front wheel is a serious risk offroad. Toyota seems to have upgraded the armor since, rather than relocate the lines. Here’s hoping that it goes through/above the frame in the

Boulder, Colorado.

C8 Corvettes are doing the same thing, $20-30K+ over MSRP. Selling to people with more money than patience.  In 8 years they’ll be common as dirt and depreciated heavily.

Waiting to see if the NSX Spider rumors are true (Dec ‘21), if they aren’t the LC500 convertible is at the top of my list. “Not a numbers car” is simply excusing it for costing twice as much as a Supra but slower to 60.  If they do an LC-F convertible I will definitely be getting a REALMK5 plate.

My local Chevy dealer has a Ford Mustang on their big showoff ramp on the corner.

The last year of the 4.0L V6, you’ll regret selling it :-) ask anybody who owns the new 3.5

Because Starlink is primarily targeting remote area users where high speed internet service is difficult and expensive, there simply may not be enough target users to recoup the massive initial investment.

If I were looking for a family capable of handling tough roads, I can’t imagine picking this over a 4dr Rubicon, Bronco, 4Runner or Lexus GX.

If they’re needed to Lexus-ify anything, it would be the Supra. Except they won’t because then it would compete directly with the Z4.

I seriously doubt that Lexus would ever brand/sell something that they didn’t manufacture themselves.

Are they as safe, low maintenance, comfortable, and reliable as a 2021 car? Some people have different automotive priorities.

I was looking at 2021 200 Series Land Cruisers for fun last week, they’re charging $10,000 ADM (Additional Dealer Markup) and people are paying for them.

Modern cars are the equivalent of a shiny new Apple watch, it does everything you could ask a watch to do and so much more, but its never going to have the impact on the owner that a 1954 Rolex Submariner does. It’s only a watch, and not a particularly accurate or durable one. But it’s undeniably cool, elegant,
