Don’t take this the wrong way but, you’re delusional if that’s what you think. It’s a direct competitor to the 570, Huracan, 911 Turbo, GTR etc. It has never been, nor ever will be a ‘baby’ P1/LaFerrari/918.

Remember, you said “a new Japanese sportscar made by a company that still has a soul”.

The NSX is also completely unattainable for the average Honda buyer.

You think Honda still has a soul? They lost any semblance of a soul over a decade ago.

In a world with no targa NSX and a Supra made in Austria, I’ll risk it.

Dear Honda,

At the end of the day Porsche is producing a car that by all metrics is behind its competitors and that should be an embarrassment for Porsche.

Good point, so it’s more like ~65% more power consumption to go 30% faster.

My Yamaha jet ski from the mid 2000's did the same thing. “Slow mode” on, top speed limit ~44 MPH, it had enough fuel for about 4 hours of operation. “Slow mode” off, top speed limit ~55 MPH, it had enough fuel for about 2 hours of operation.

Pretty sure the Taycan comes with a 2-speed transmission, the Tesla’s do not

No idea, not my chart. But I assume that they did this without HVAC (above 68 degrees) or heat (under 32 degrees).

Except the 11 foot 8 bridge is being raised.

My little 500e loses 30-40% of its range in the winter time. On top of that highway driving significantly reduces its range too.

Nissan nearly self-destructed over this? A measly $22 million?

Dear Honda,

“This is not a car we needed to make,” Jack Hollis told a group of reporters eager to test it before heading out to West Virginia’s Summit Point Motorsports Park. “This is a car we wanted to make.”

So you’ve got it figured out and everyone else here is wrong right? Is that what’s going on here?
