Absolutely not. I don’t care if it is a 250 GTO, the first Model T, or the first Benz, drive it or sell it to someone who will. No car deserves to sit in a museum. I’d rather see it thrashed and and abused than kept in pristine shape. A wrecked F40 will always be better than one that has never seen the street.

As far as I am concerned, as long as there is a lock out, it can be anywhere. Up and to the left was fine in both my Mazda 6 and the Volvo truck. However, in my 68 GTO, it was too close to first for my liking.
