So, is Bugatti managing to sell these cars at a loss like they did with the Veyron?
Remedy: Stop buying junk. I know a few people that always buy junk and spend more time fixing than driving. I’d much rather have a payment with something reliable and a single project on the side.
In both cases, I would refuse to make a recommendation all together.
Anybody that recommends buying a Corolla should never be trusted again.
My wife got me interested in them. She’s been wanting one for the better part of the last 15 years. Finally, I drove one. A 2005 325Ci, to be exact. I’ve been obsessed with getting one ever since. Almost bought a 2009 328 ‘vert back in 2014, but, it was sold at about the same time that we secured the financing.
I have such a stupid hard-on for this car, it makes me question my own sanity. If they meet the range expectations and the price expectations, I’m going to do whatever it takes to get one. The Model S is absolutely goregous and I wouldn’t complain at all if the 3 looks like a smaller version. (The X, however, ruins…
The only thing I don’t like about the Slingshot is the rubbery interior. I’d prefer hard plastic. It’s like they used basketball rubber over the whole interior.
Maybe it’s time to design a new car that doesn’t look like a fighter jet with the wings chopped off the sides.
Melissa McCarthy is enough reason not to watch it.
I own one. The Mazda6 is an awful car. Boring and bland in every way. While perfectly reliable, the only reason to buy one is that it fits into your budget. It’s as bland and uninspiring as its competitors. The only reason to buy one of these over an Accord or Camry is to be able to say it’s not an Accord or Camry.…
Well, I could take my Nova back to ‘71 to meet my great grandfather. Move into his building and then prevent his murder in ‘74. Then, focus on building an impressive stock portfolio while selectively altering the course of history until 2007 when I can save my dad from heart failure and then I could enjoy the…
Damn, lotta colorblind people in the comments claiming not-teal colors are teal. I vote to bring back teal and the Cavalier. My first car was a Cavalier and while it wasn’t teal, it wasn’t a bad car.
I know it doesn’t compare when it comes to performance, but, IMO, the C4 was the last good looking Corvette. They’ve gotten uglier every generation since. Now, if I could have a C4 with C7 drive-train, I wouldn’t complain.
Are these cars as numb to drive as I think they are?
For me it was. I aim to keep my payments under $400/mo. Under $300/mo is preferred.
You forget that financing is often better on new cars vs used. I wanted a CPO BMW 3 series the last time I went shopping, but, the financing was better on a new Mazda6 and I ended up with that (and hate every mile driving it).
I’d buy a Mercury today if it came with her.
Yawn. I’m not getting excited until production begins.
Don’t ask how I know this, but, my wife fits quite nicely in one of those carriers.
