I would ride to the dealership to get a proper dirtbike. The only advantage that I ever saw to scooters was not needing a motorcycle license, registration, or insurance.

I want to like it. I think it would be fine as a commuter car. The fuel economy, though. I’m averaging 37 MPG in my Mazda6 and that’s a lot more car for a similar price. Granted, it’s not as easy to park and I understand that is the appeal for most buyers of the smart. Form factor wise, it’s all I’d need for puttering…
