I don't want to say it failed because it hit too close too home, but… maybe it hit a little too close to home.
I… don't actually think Bojack is mean-spirited?
I'll be that guy. You might not like Buffy even if you watched the whole thing but in my opinion, it's not a show where you can watch a scattered episode here and there and understand what makes it special.
Shouldn't you be bumbling through a dinner party, Black Frasier?
Of course, she seemingly completely forgets this lesson though 75% of S7.
Of course YOU can, rafterman00. Of COURSE you can.
I'm here for the old style comment section.
And the like I got on this comment let me know that my alerts are only loading intermittently too! Wheeeee!
Especially in that last shot.
The comments are only loading for me about 30% of the time and none of the avatars show up. Plus I hate endless scrolling.
Wait till you see the popover comments and endless scrolling.
what the heck is happening with these comments.
I'm glad someone loves it but it's probably my least favorite episode of either series, partially because I just don't like it and partially because of when it happens in the series.
Even taking that into consideration, it sounds to me like he's saying it must be a bummer to see these guys brought to screen without much similarity to their comic book counterparts. But I could be misreading.
Sounds like he's blaming the movie, not the properties.
I never could get into Supernatural and I'll be honest—the fandom has scared me away. But I'm considering watching it at some point.
Let him die.
The whole episode has a weird tone that seems like it would be hard to fix without changing the "endless sexfest creating a prison" thing, but I wouldn't have minded seeing another writer give it the once over.
I came to Buffy late and will hardly rewatch anything I really loved for that reason. But Buffy, while it DOES have a lot of filler, has such a strong cast and themes, holds up great. Every time I watch it, I'm nervous, but never disappointed in the end.
