As a veteran street racer from the ‘70s, it amazes me how people would ooh and ahh about horsepower figures when it was torque that wins street races.

If this was on the East coast, I’d be all over it. I’t perfect for my needs. I’d even daily drive it.

Noting that there is nothing more expensive than a used German car, this is CP every day and twice on Sunday.

I’d daily-drive the heck out of this thing. I have a 40 miles commute through towns and mountains. I think it’s do great in this environment.

I’m in the market for a pickup and if it comes in something other than silver (jeez, what a non-color) I’d be interested. But seriously this thing needs to come to market. I agree with Granny Shifter that a W/T version for cheap would be very appealing. Not exactly sure what they could delete. The interior seems to be

Go find a snow covered empty parking lot—schools are pretty good— and hoon the heck out of the car. All combinations of acceleration, braking, turning etc. Find out what the car does and how to counter it.

This racing looks eerily like the roots of NASCAR: street cars hopped up to evade tax agents and the local constabulary. This is what we should have gotten. Instead we got hours of left turns.

Upgraded from A/C to a sunroof at no additional charge.

Thanks, Torch. I owned two Pintos--a ‘71 and a ‘73 Wagon. I loved those little cars. Especially the ‘71. It had the German made 2 liter engine that was a blast to hoon around in.

I rally felt bad for those drivers who did not Finnish the race.

It’s a running without body damage Ferrari for under $40k. NP all day long.

All you need to do is drag a $100 bill through a trailer park and you’ll get someone who’ll swear he was a serial rapist. At least that’s what I’ve been told.

As a child of the ‘60s and a gearhead ever since, the name is perfect. If you have to have it explained to you, you wouldn’t understand.

A 300,000 mile Range Rover with a BMW engine? Perfect storm of CP goodness.

I want one of these, but not $6000 worth.

If, tomorrow, we suddenly switched to all-EV vehicles, could the electrical infrastructure support the requirement? How much of this electricity is coming from coal and NG fired plants? How many more electric plants will need to be constructed and of what type?

The basis of most BDSM arrangements is “hurt not harm”. Pain is pleasure, but permanent damage is not.  If someone is using a sex robot to, for example, administer a spanking, as long as no permanent damage was done, then Asimov’s rule has not been broken.

I live near Duncan. I’m saving up to buy an SCargo. I’m going to paint a big snail on the side and daily drive it. The back should fit my wheelchair nicely.

I’m not a Bimmer fan, and I use a wheelchair, but I’d snap this one up. Anyone make hand controls for a stick shift?
