What does it say about me that I could not keep by xbox working after multiple replacements, and ultimately got rid of it when it again stopped working and was no longer covered under warranty?

It sounds like Lassen is saying the authors will get all originally contracted payments, advances, royalties, etc. But at least one author has blogged that the royalty terms are changing and he would, at best, only receive 50% or his original contract amounts under this deal. Neither side has published the specific

Aside from the fact that this person & their business really are not part of the 1%, I have to ask— where is all of this coming from? Have I missed a major i09 discussion trend regarding the 99%-vs-1%? Or is this you just inserting your narrative view over the content?

"starting" to pay attention to? Not quite— the formal study of semantics dates to the 1800's at the absolute latest (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Karl_Reisig) Graphy theory? Even further back: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonhard_Euler

While I can't explain Amazon not selling much of the hardware directly, the Ad recommendations *might* be accidental, though it would be quite a coincidence, and betray a bit about shopping habits that are slightly embarrassing for Nintendo: A lot of this stuff is automated by Amazon based on shipping habits and

No, it doesn't actaully pull free of the putty, but it does accumulate in much higher quantities around the magnet, so that when you are done and pull the magnet free, it will not exert much of an attractive force on any other part of the putty, while the part of the putty that was touching the magnet will respond to

Listen Gizmodo, I've seen the movie Hackers, so I think I might know a little something more about hacking than you so-called internets folks. Have no fear I is here.

Hey, have some respect! The man is literally a living god.

Many, many, many many many many many many more books are optioned for their movie rights than ever actually get made into movies, or indeed move at all beyond the optioning stage.

My impression of gawker comment systems, as a reader of multiple gawkers sites preceding any comment system, is that there has been very little overall improvement in each iteration: Each new version is just awkward in a different way. I'm not saying they're much worse— or really any worse— than other comment systems,

I think the craving thing may be relative... someone with dysentery might be jonesin' for some coke zero, but would probably opt for the anti-shitting medication when pushed to make a choice between the two.

ah, thanks

Maybe it will help with minor oil spills, but even at a 900-1 weight ratio, it would have taken more than 85,000,000 lbs of this stuff to clean BP's spill in the Gulf. It doesn't really matter how cheap it is, scaling up production to those amounts, not to mention the logistics of rapid distribution to the spill scene

why nickel, instead of something like iron or steal?

Yes, but good drugs!

sure, microelectronics... if you're going to lie on the internet, at least pick something real

+1 for materialism!

This guy is my mother's second cousin twice removed, and he did it all from home for roughly $1.3 millions/hr!

Are you sure? Was it more than $93/hour then? Because lots of posters on this site recently seem to have fairly strong opinions on their loosely connected relations' ability to earning potential

yes, thank you. I'm no coffee snob, but a k-machine is what's available where i work and I like strong coffee, so I'm stuck doing two "small" sized coffee runs through the reusable k-cups to get a decently strong cup.
