Dont worry! The supporting cast just felt like they were there as window dressing. One guy just spent most of his screen time with hus junk out. The only one with anything to do was Arielle Holmes and that was small.

Maybe it was so set in LA that i had a hard time identifying with stuff: cant find where valet parked your car, making a living playing pop music instead of true blue jazz, bad auditions, whining about not making it as an actress, etc. I acknowledge that its very creative…

I haven't seen Edge of Seventeen but I think what's stopping me is the fact that the main girl's problems seem so weak. I think in 2016 I can't deal with secretly pretty white girls who hate themselves.
