I saw this last night and the Shea concert footage was fantastic.

Back in the 60s they were live (think Dark shadows) but when tape came around to be cheaper they went with it. They try for one takes with mult camera set ups.

Very true! My dad was a tape editor for Guiding Light in the early 80s so I always appreciated the genre.
