It would appear they only manifest themselves when needed to take out an errant BMW driver.

???

Coopers anyone?

There may well be situations where, following impact, you’d still want the car to be able to access the batteries. Better to have redundant power cut-offs so that experts on the scene can disconnect it if they deem it necessary.

You know what, that’s fair. Glad they at least did it to one with that many miles on it.

It’s not bad at all, considering it was a high-mileage neglected example. If they had torn up a 15k mile gem, yeah rip on them. But they did a solid job on this one.

And the upside down jeep sticker. :)

Seriously. The fact that they are reconfigurable is really neat.

There are compromises that need to be made to allow the flexibility of suspension that the Jeep offers. The soft springs rates, low lateral stiffness in the suspension, and hilariously bad payload ratings (at least on the JK) dictate a low towing capacity. Frankly, I wouldn’t want to tow more than 3500 lbs with one.

Might be under $20k by that point. If we are lucky.

The prewired AUX switches are probably the best part. A low risk venture for accessory items.

“But if you removed your doors, and your quarter windows, and rolled that bad boy all the way back, you’d have damn-near a “fully-open” Jeep experience without having to stash your roof someplace.”

looking forward to buying one in 15 years

but seriously, the TJ is the best

USB-C - The Future Is Here!

I’d just be wary of how it was abused and/or modded. These things tend to live hard lives.

The previous generation is always the last real Jeep.

Holy Toledo, What A Car!

So are Orlove and Ballabanana acting like celebrity douche nozzles yet, demanding their soy lattes in nice coffee mugs instead of pauper paper cups? Or nah?
