John Locke was pathetic in his life before he came to the island, but seemed in his element after the plane crashed. In hindsight, he was still pathetic after the plane crash since he was killed before he could do all the "great things" he thought he was "destined" to do. Matt is a similar character, but the major

I hope that was a deliberate reference to his role in "Fences".

Matt gets some great lines. I loved him seeing through Meg right away when she came to Miracle and told her "I apologize for being your living reminder".

The letters from the bearded man on the tower were addressed to him as well. I wonder if he has a bigger part to play, or that this was it - just another man attempting to give meaning to his weird supernatural experience (although I love the ambiguity - what if he really was God?)….

Ta-da! You're saved.

And he was mentioned on TV several times during season 2! They even mentioned him experiencing the afterlife as a hotel before it happened to Kevin.

It helped that, in season 2, the show focused on a place that symbolized "hope" rather than a group of people that symbolized everything that's bleak about the world. This show's humor is amazing, though, and last night's episode was no exception.

Doesn't every country just steal the melody for "Happy Birthday"? Us Dutch use it, not even caring that we have to cram twice as many syllables in there to have it make any sense.

There's still lots of ground to cover, if they choose to! Saul mentioned "Ignacio" (Nacho) in Breaking Bad, and also stated that he'd had the "Vamonos Pest" burglars as clients for about five years. Not sure how many days have passed since the first episode, but it could mean we'll get to see Todd at some point.

That definitely seemed intentional. As Jimmy later puts it: "If you had, I don't know, lung cancer, would you have told Rebecca then?"

But he really did eat Jimmy's celebration cake. That's unforgiveable.

Rebecca mentioned that Jimmy had sent those pictures to her, and that that was the reason she came all that way. That played a huge part in getting to Chuck's angry rant at the end.

Chucks's biggest weakness is his pride, I think, which is why I love that he lives under such embarrassing circumstances. It must also be the reason why he doesn't want Jimmy to be a lawyer; that's something he had already dedicated his life to, and he can't stand that Jimmy is able to shortcut his way through it.

Her character on Dexter was one of the most dreadful characters I've ever witnessed on TV, and not even in a bad writing sort of way (oh, good times!)… Jaime Murray was perfect for that role, and she's a perfect Black Fairy as well. Just so incredibly irksome.

That's because LOST's first season was one of the best things ever and OUAT's… wasn't.

It really was weird, and the scene actually seems to make more sense if you just forget about the part where she DID shoot Negan and missed. It's really unusual, even for this show.

I agree that that was the idea, but it's not because the show has given us any reason to think that… This didn't seem all that different from the way Glenn's fake-out death was done and it wouldn't have surprised me if they had left us/Michonne hanging for a few more minutes.

Looked to me like she was reverting back to the way she was when we met her in season 3, which was some great subtle acting from Danai Gurira.

I believe Sherlock wrote that song after meeting Irene Adler. He definitely played it in that episode; I just don't remember if he was writing it before she came into his life. So, probably, Eurus could tell that he wrote a melody about a woman he had passionate feelings for?
